The 29th annual Frankenmuth Auto Fest is Sept. 7, 8, & 9th
The Frankenmuth Auto Fest is ran by a small group of people that love cars and care about making Frankenmuth and the surrounding area better. Annually, they donate over $100,000 to local non-profit organizations and charities.

In 1983 a group of car people calling themselves the Country Street Machines, got together and held a one day car show in the St. Lorenze Churchgrove that brought in 83 registered cars.

Today, 29 years later, The Frankenmuth Auto Fest is one of the most respected, well known, and well attended shows in the State of Michigan. Over 2400 cars register annually for the show, and tens of thousands of people attend the three day event. From the Big Block Party Friday night, to the Rockin’ Oldies Party on Saturday night, there is something for everyone to enjoy, Ronald McDonald even shows up for the kids.

Over 300 volunteers show up to make the Auto Fest a success. Year after year car crazy people from all over the United States and Canada flock to Frankenmuth the weekend after Labor Day to cruise Michigans Little Bavaria.

The 25th annual Frankenmtuh Auto Fest recently gave back $151,000 to various organizations and charities in Frankenmuth and the surrounding area. This great weekend in Frankenmuth would not happen if it was not for the great people of Frankenmuth, the Police Department, the DPW, and the Parks and Rec. Department. The organizers of the event know that the event is only as successful as the great community around it.
