A Baby Story

Just like on TLC’s A Baby Story, we have been following Tabitha Mason, Bavarian Inn Restaurant Group Sales Manager, through her pregnancy.  9 months and 4 days later, Thomas was born.

Since we don’t have an hour to talk about how Thomas was brought into this world, we do have a recap of the excitement that unfolded on Monday, August 3.  Here is her story:

Tabitha is willing to go ‘above and beyond’ to help Bavarian Inn Restaurant’s marketing efforts.  She proved that on Monday, August 3.

Although she was pregnant and now 4 days overdue, she felt well enough to join a group of about 30 motorcoach tour planners for dinner.  They were here to what Frankenmuth has to offer their groups, called a FAM (familiarization) Tour.  After a lovely meal, while walking to her home next door, Tabitha went into labor.  Everything progressed very quickly and the pains were very close.

As her and her husband drove to the hospital in Saginaw, normally 25-minute drive, Her husband, John,  was on the phone with the midwife.  The midwife was on the phone with “911” to explain why they were running red lights.  Three minutes after arriving, Thomas was delivered.  This was within 90 minutes of leaving the FAM tour guests!

Tabitha sent a text message to the escort of the FAM tour, Herb, announcing that the baby was born.  So the FAM Tour guests were one of the first to hear the news of the birth of Baby Thomas.  They will certainly remember Tabitha.  Everyone is healthy and doing great.

Every new addition becomes part of the Bavarian Inn Family.  Thomas is no exception. Welcome Thomas, Congratulations Tabitha.  To express your congrats to Tabitha, please a comment below.
