Thanks to Future Vision Satellite of Saginaw we’ll be showing baseball & college football on Direct TV. Dinners start at $12.  There will be a 6 oz. lobster tail dinner, 1/2 bbq chicken dinner, dozen steamed clams dinner, and king crab leg dinner.  All dinners include: clam chowder, corn, coleslaw, New York “salt potatoes”, roll & butter, coffee, iced tea or lemonade.  There will also be a cash bar, 50/50 drawings every hour, and, on the Karbowski Oil/BP Entertainment Stage, RockShow (80′s and Journey tributes), The Shaydes, Scruffy Dog, Vagabond Wheels, and Marko.

Farm Fest

August 5 – 7th, 2011

 

 Friday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Sunday: 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 

Admission is only $3.00 and children age 12 and under are FREE.

Parking is also FREE.

This is a great educational event for everyone, food and drinks will be available.

Ready, Set, Shop!

I’ve tried to think of some great catch phrases for reasons to come to Frankenmuth to finish up your shopping.  All I could come up with is, Why Not?  “Shop local” are strong words in today’s struggling economy and in small towns like ours.  It is not only important to our community’s growth, but also to continue traditions in making Frankenmuth feel magical this time of year as it comes alive with all the holiday hustle and bustle.  If it has been a while since your last visit to Frankenmuth (or perhaps you have never had the opportunity visit), we invite you to experience the Christmas wonder that our city provides.  Below are suggestions for a one or two day shopping adventure. Santa’s In Town

Where can you find Santa in Frankenmuth?  He could be anywhere, but the most common places he will be this year are at Frankenmuth River Place, Bavarian Inn Lodge and Bavarian Inn Restaurant.  If you missed him at one place, be sure to check the next place and he might be there.  Frankenmuth is festive with with lights and Christmas decorations all through out town and down the river bank. Frankenmuth Holiday Celebration & Candlewalk

Our Annual City wide Holiday Celebration and Candlewalk is this Friday, November 27, 2009.

Join the walk November 27, 2009 for our annual Holiday Celebration and Candlewalk.  Ceremony at Festival Platz stage starting at 6:30 p.m.  Walk to the Chamber of Commerce and sings Christmas Carols.  At 7:00 p.m. there will be more singing and a speeches at the Chamber of Commerce with the ceremony closing at around 7:30 p.m.  Hot chocolate, cookies and candles will be provided at River Place.

It’s a great even for the whole family to enjoy.  Start making a new tradition with the City of Frankenmuth.
