River Place Shops’ Fairy Luncheon

Frankenmuth River Place Shops will be hosting a Fairy Luncheon on Saturday, August 21, 2010.  This event is part of the “Mystical World of Fairies Weekend” at the Enchanted Forest Store.

Jessica Galbreth, contemporary fairy artist, will be available to meet, greet and sign her new art pieces with doors opening for mingling and signing at 11:30 AM and lunch, catered by Bavarian Inn Restaurant, at 12:00 pm.

During this even, guests will be able to make their own miniature fairy garden, featuring real plants, a fairy and miniature garden accessories, make a fairy bracelet, and have the opportunity for more interaction with Jessica while she helps you learn about and make fairy creations.

Three Men & A Tenor Dinner Show

Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant will be featuring a Dinner Show on Thursday, January 14 and Friday, January 15, 2010 called Three Men and a Tenor, Thursday’s show will be at 6:30 p.m. for $45.00 and Friday’s show will be held at 11:00 a.m.  for $40.00

Ready, Set, Shop!

I’ve tried to think of some great catch phrases for reasons to come to Frankenmuth to finish up your shopping.  All I could come up with is, Why Not?  “Shop local” are strong words in today’s struggling economy and in small towns like ours.  It is not only important to our community’s growth, but also to continue traditions in making Frankenmuth feel magical this time of year as it comes alive with all the holiday hustle and bustle.  If it has been a while since your last visit to Frankenmuth (or perhaps you have never had the opportunity visit), we invite you to experience the Christmas wonder that our city provides.  Below are suggestions for a one or two day shopping adventure.

Santa’s In Town

Where can you find Santa in Frankenmuth?  He could be anywhere, but the most common places he will be this year are at Frankenmuth River Place, Bavarian Inn Lodge and Bavarian Inn Restaurant.  If you missed him at one place, be sure to check the next place and he might be there.  Frankenmuth is festive with with lights and Christmas decorations all through out town and down the river bank.

Holiday Open House 09

The Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Restaurant will be hosting another Holiday Open House this year on November 20, 2009.  A few changes have been made this year and new locations have been added.  We are happy to announce the addition of Frankenmuth River Place (several shopping opportunities) and Frankenmuth Bavarian Inn Lodge shops.

Employee Series #2

I thought it would be nice to have you meet some of our long-standing employees of the Bavarian Inn Corporation.  We will start with those employees with 30 or more years of service.  As the main author of this blog, being that I am under the age of 30, this is outstanding that we have employees that have been with us for more than 30 years.  In today’s changing society, this becoming less and less heard of.  These are the wonderful people that have kept the Bavarian Inn functioning with the same quality and German atmosphere since 1950.  For a brief history of the Bavarian Inn, please read more here Bavarian Inn History.
